Our Special Instructors provide education to parents by helping them identify the developmental milestones their child is working toward. Special Instructors also provide services to our clients in the home. Most treatment is done using a play therapy based approach. Play therapy is a type of structured play that targets specific areas of development. When a child has a global development delay in the 5 domains assessed, a SI will be used to help the parent and child meet outcomes and goals specified in their child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)
